I decided to read this because everyone in the comments were saying that they're sobbing so I was like, "how good can it be?" I BAWLED LIKE A BABY LIKE I LITERALLY BINGED READ THIS IN A DAY This was so hauntingly beautiful... What struck me most was even in the times of horrific destruction and despair, hope could still bloom in the darkest of places. This is not just a tale of romance, but more so a tale of resilience, hope and forgiveness. Even Jackson was not completely horrible, it was a matter of stands and perspective The author did a great job navigating the complex themes!
