Personal bias up front: I hate children so I'm not particularly mad there's none
Don't know what chapter it was, but during mc's (Hitomi I think)confession after the botched bj/before the super possessive stuff, ml (Kamiya ?) asks Hitomi if he wants children, & Hitomi replies "not especially but..." & then mentions the stuff Kamiya said in heat, to which Kamiya says something along the lines of he doesn't "have any strong feelings" about having children
While having children was a big part of the plot, I believe it was more like a tool to show Hitomi's anxieties about not providing enough comfort for Kamiya/easing his loneliness. I understand feeling let down by the lack of children if that's something you like in bl, I've had disappointmens too, but it makes sense they don't have any in the end imo.
