There's aspects of this ending (The segment with the Buddha was kino) I really like but it's so sad that this entire manga is about the connections Takeo-chan makes with other yokai, yet it ends with her never being able interact with them again (╥‸╥) What gives!! Yeah, they're always "right next to her" even if she can't see them, but she won't be able to communicate with them again. That also means there's no real resolution to the romantic subplot either even though it ends with a confession... Takeo-chan isn't a regular human, so let them all stay together!!
Well, nevermind.. Takeo-chan becoming a normal human is her arc throughout the story, I was distracted by my own feelings.. of despair. A bittersweet ending is fine, but I'm so unsatisfied!
