I have the theory that Chaejun got locked by some bullies, Seunghyun tried to rescue him and gave him his jacket so he wouldn't be cold, and went to look for help.
Chaejun hugged the jacket and used it to calm himself until he was found.
Both forgot what happened because of the trauma of all of it happening.
