I didn't read the novel to finish because just as you said, it was confusing. Gave up after Ferance died on 1st timeline. I don't understand tge hatred ML had for MC in 1st timeline, while ML exactly knew it was Duke Amandaris and not Ferance who killed his family. Ferance was 16yo kid, lost both his parents, puppet prince, and unknowns imprinted on old man. Why blame Ferance.

I mean. I understand why MC act that way. He was a victim of grooming and pedophilia. The duke (even though he was painted as young and handsome) he is still old man with 3 children but what? He made 16yo young prince imprints on him and have sex with him? Ugh disgusting. Btw, in the novel, the duke face isn't described so it's really disgusting. But here in webtoon he has pretty face.
I also don't under 1st timeline ML. He knows the one who killed his parents is Amandaris, but why he strive to took over Wistad and hated Ferance (MC). He only realized too late after Ferance died.
The 2nd timeline is much rushed.
Let see, all Ferance did to save ML family still failed. ML ghosted him 13 years. Then ML suddenly back to him. All because of misunderstanding "Marstiel" name.
Another: the sex, all of it, are very uncomfortable. In first timeline, Ferance kept vomiting, bleeding, as if he was raped (because Ferance strong imprinting reaction). In 2nd timeline, the story pace is so much rushed, there was so little intimacy development between MC & ML. In 2nd timeline, the undoing only need 2x sex. While in 1st timeline, they did few time gruesome sex and Ferance still bound to his imprint to Amandaris, while ML gave him many excuses to not having sex to undo the imprint. I believe at that time, ML wanted MC dead after giving birth because MC couldn't undo the imprint. The story has many plot holes and so much questions
