People need things to obsess and rant over to escape their daily lives. Plus some characters REALLY piss you off.
fair enough ig..still infantalizing an almost 30 year old character (who isnt even real) and spewing hate on another character (who also isnt real ) however shitty he may be
idk maybe theres better stuff people can do like read a book they actually like or rant about so many actual horrible people out that but :P thats just me
Its easier to say things about things that dont exist bc hey its not real so there's no guilty conscience or bad feelings. Another reason why ppl enjoy toxic stories
