Unpopular Opinion but i didn't like Aeroc and it is not because of what crime he committed but rather how, even after knowing everything, going through so much suffering and trauma in his last life, he still liked Kloff. I cannot imagine what kind of thoughts he is thinking because if that shit happened to me, i would have stayed freaking miles away from Kloff if i was presented an opportunity at new life.
It is about for how long can you delude yourself into thinking that you still like him. He was miserable, had accepted his fate of agony just because he thought it is justified to suffer so much for a heinous crime that the crime itself start looking small infront of it.
Kloff too, in his previous life, had somewhat wanted Aeroc but it was his own pride that was in between. I do not hold him accountable for it but there was a scene where Kloff called his dying mate, Rapiel, Aeroc. He was always, somewhere in his mind, infatuated with Aeroc and did not want to accept it at all. I don't like him either.
All in all, if i liked any character in this story, it was the old butler at Aeroc's estate.
