grayson can't feel emotions. he has a very fucked up way of "understanding" it, that's why he thinks he's doing something good for others and doesn't realize it's hurting/traumatising them instead. he genuinely thinks what he's doing (esp to chase his little brother) is good and that he's just helping. he doesn't understand why chase hates it. then dane, the red haired guy who helped yeonwoo (kiss me, liar) hide before, basically beats this guy up into shape (literally and metaphorically). dane shows him how to read emotions, what's the norm, social cues, and everything. he took a complete 180 turn with his personality and wants to be a good person that's deserving of dane. in the end, grayson literally flies all around the world to personally apologize for all the people he wronged. including chase. ofc, chase doesn't forgive him and that's totally understandable.

every single time I see hate on Grayson, I have to shut my ass up cause I physically can't defend him in this light, but TRUST it makes sense once you read his own story
