Breaths....

After seeing the comments. I agree with what mostly is being said.

I do think the way she found out about her misscarriage was the worst possible way. Her father using it against her, urgh.. my heart. But I do think at the start there was no good time to tell her.

Girly drained majority of her life/mana and was sleeping. Dropping that news while recovering would have just been awful. Especially since max already has quite a low self-esteem it would have added to her already drastic situation.

As for Rifian, and reading the novel.. I am not a fan of his behaviour. I can sorta understand that he is literally one of the leads for the war. He needs to command his knights, etc. So comforting Maxi would have to wait, but I do not agree with how he went about yelling at her. I get he wants her safe. He was always transparent about not wanting her here. I am sure it was hard to focus on the war fully knowing she was there, although I wish he had more faith in her. But I agree with some of the comments I saw. I wish he would of gave some words of comfort, even along the lines off. "Maxi. I need you gone, please. I want you safe. I will come get you after all this war business is all calmed down." But knowing his character, welp. LMAO that is wishful thinking.

Back to the miscarriage. Realistically it was no ones business or place to tell her apart from Rifian, whether he was going to tell her anytime soon or not, is questionable. But I don't agree with everyone getting attacked cause of it. It is not easy to give someone the news, espeically when they are in a crucial state.

I do believe Maxi has people who take care of her.

The princess stood up for Maxi, and encourages her with Magic. Ruth is a good friend, keeping her identity a secret, even that being going against Rifian, lmao. And the knights trying their best to protect her.

I do agree that when it came to the reactions towards her father, the princess should of caught on. But as Maxi says. Her father always puts on a good act.

I do like the complexity of the characters, but reading the novel. Rif pissed me off for a while, LMAO.
