Hate him but I can understand why shaggar considers him kind. He's been by his side for long and if you consider the people he had to share magic with before luso, it's no wonder he doesn't consider luso's actions a big deal. He doesn't take himself seriously sadly and someone like fio who treats him like he's the center of the whole world is good for him. He'll learn to care and cherish himself.
