There’s tons of examples of this, many manwha/manga have stories where the ml or fl is tan/dark and they’re seen as barbaric, aggressive, wild or animalistic and needing to be “tamed” in what case is that a thing of “culture”? Especially when in comparison the fl/ml would be pale with blonde hair blue eyes and be praised as beautiful. I read one where she’s tan and then when she became pale all of a sudden she was seen as attractive too people how is that not racism?
Because Japan doesn't have dark skinned people naturally. In the past, those of darker complexion have in fact been barbarian invaders who have come to destroy their way of life. On the flipside, historically, blond hair/blue eyed people tend to be more civilized and interested in preserving their culture while bringing improvements to what they already had in place. And don't get me wrong, they have the ability to be bad too and do horrible things. But, they also tend to help with rebuilding rather than just leaving it destroyed. It's event prevalent today. Just look at the situation in Japan going on right now.

Japan does not share the same views as America when it comes to such things. Forcing them to follow western ideals is just as bad as cultural appropriation.

If they can use and appropriate the aesthetic, sound and trends from black artists and African American culture, then what's exactly stoping then from learning about how racism works. You can't have it both ways, either they know or "don't know".

There is currently an influx of sexual assaults, violent attacks, and robberies in Japan that has been caused by the Middle Eastern and African immigrants that have been brought over. Several young girls have fallen victim to violent R*pe gangs over the past 5 years.
After WWII, America helped to rebuild what was destroyed and even brought over infrastructure that they still use today. Quite a bit of Japanese culture, such as Gals and Idols, are directly inspired by the United States. Yes, there was racism, just like there was toward literally every other race including the freaking Irish, but since then white Americans have become some of the biggest supporters of Japanese culture.
You forgot to mention how the Japanese grape and murder their own people as well!! Japanese people have safety concerns for Japanese women and children because the men are fucking perverts who make animated content for that very reason ! R*ping, murdering, and destroying public property. They had to cancel cherry blossom viewings over people publicly defecating on temple grounds. Gangs have been abducting and assaulting young girls. There has been a 4.4% surge in violent crimes since 2023 when the migrant surge occurred as well.

The first is due to a change in legislation and the expansion of the definition of sexual crime, second the cherry blossom viewings, thats due to international tourists not immigrants, lastly the gang violence is due to japanese nationals, the surge in violent crimes is also due to short term visitors not long term. Also let's not forget the ethic groups that DO belong to japan and have lived there for years they may look middle-eastern but they ARE japanese in nationality. Search it up. They were the actual natives of the land than the more standard known Japanese person came after they landed there from korea/china.They were also victims of japan due to forced assimilation.
