yes but you learn to feel empathy for him if you read the novel

I can totaliy get someone for still hating his ass. The simon's house part was still brutal as fuck

I literally cannot fathom how he could possibly fall in love with jerome after this bullshit

i couldn’t either, i don’t want to spoil anything but jerome and raymond are actually very similar

Do yk which part of the novel it leaves off on? I want to read it

pretty sure volume 3 unless you want to read in detail raymond burning the school down in the end of volume 2 but you actually learn more about jerome vol 7-8

Basically Jerome is like a stallion from the royal family and a bastard Just like raymond, hugh's family abused him since forever and i think during volume 1 and 2 hes totally high on drugs, his later purpose being taking down the people related to this drug. Raymond actually chases him so much for complex reasons being loving him and/or making him his dog, idk raymond is an extremely broke character honestly even i dont understand after reading allat. He runs and runs and says he raped him and tries to make raymond hate him etc. They dont have a proper loving moment even at the end, despite having some tender wholesome moments. The novel has sides for them tho.
