Tei is an unreliable narrator to the MAX and SOME of you need to hop on ao3 and learn what that is. I’ve never seen such a slow comment section before. Go back to primary school and learn some media literacy ffs.

I mean how do you expect the people to understand the story beyond to what it just portrays when the current major narrative is all Tei's perspective? He thinks that way, he sees things in that way, and he perceive it that way, so of course most readers would just keep relying to that details because apparently the story still hasn't given us any much more deep nuances other than the mc's perceptions to the events.

Well that’s the thing about unreliable narrators. The author has made it clear that Tei is very insecure and doesn’t understand his own feelings despite Shuraka literally showing in the story that he loves him enough to kill for him. As readers, we should be picking up the clues that we shouldn’t trust everything Tei thinks and perceives from the glimpses we saw through Shuraka’s portion of the story. We need to keep it at face value because the truth will be revealed and explained later on in the story. This right now is just the build up but a lot of the reader shut everything out and simply blames Shuraka and jumps to conclusions because they don’t want to wait and hear his side of the story.

And as I said the major narrative in the story where we only currently have is still in Tei's perspective, you don't expect every readers esp the minors who reads this story to have the same level of understanding like yours to be able to interpret the whole narrative just like you do, most readers rely on what the story shows and the characters perceptions unless the author finally gives us details to break down every nuances we see in the story. I mean I get your point, we have the same interpretation of this story, but you can't just diss everyone who still doesn't fully understand the narrative just because that's just the max and limits of what they can understand in the narrative.

Sorry if I came off as overly rude I wanted to just make a mainly light hearted criticism about the comments but I see why I came off that way! Minors should probably not be reading this story (though nothing can really stop them from doing so). No hard feelings though and I 100% get where your coming from, it just can get a bit frustrating when the same ten comments about Shuraka being loose gets copied and pasted everywhere when we haven’t even gotten to the main part yet. But again this is a BL manhwa on an illegal website so what can I do about it lol! And it was a bit ignorant of me to assume everyone knew about unreliable narrators, I thought most people would’ve learned about it by now even if they were minors!
