There is a time in novel when Truyde and Abel met, he felt something and somewhat attracting him to Abel, even though Abel still has his black hair as disguise. Truyde doesn't understand it because Abel has black hair and not blonde, but truyde noticed Abel has green eyes.
And yes it's because of the curse, so Truyde was confused why he is attracted to Abel even though Abel has black hair.
I’m not sure if this is a spoiler, but it’s more of a prediction. Does Duke Tryude (wtv his name is) end up falling in love with Abel like the curse states? Idk i think that would be superrr interesting to the plot lol. Anyway pls lmk.
