I feel like this genre of story can be made more tolerable with the addition of a second, good male lead that makes the MC reconsider their feelings for the ML, which in turn makes the ML get their shit together and act right when they realize they very much can lose the MC, not sure I've seen it done that way too much tho
Assuming MC is gonna get pregnant and not say anything and run away and it's gonna be some whole ordeal. I feel like I can see how it plays out and idk if I've got the patience to see it through man, typical ML not recognizing his own feelings and wanting to selfishly keep MC around because he's worried properly dating him will cause them to drift apart when they "inevitably" break up someday.
