If it is pierced correctly (far back and tilted away from ur teeth and gums with a well fitted bar) it reduces the chances of any damage. Ofc nothing is guaranteed
I highly recommend anyone who wants a tongue piercing to get one. It didn’t hurt at all, the healing was a bit annoying when eating, but that only lasted a few days. Pls research piercers who know good anatomy too, this will save your teeth and gums !!!
