His design screams not-main-lead-material but the excess use of panels for their scenes is giving side-couple-in-the-making. So my hunch for this one is either he comes back to cause problems to their business as petty revenge to the side ml, or he targets him alone and their subplot will evolve to some fcked up "love story" which I hope the author don't focus on (much better to just create a new work for them, if ever it went that way).
it's unpopular, but I actually find it refreshing to have a character like the side ml who's a threat to both ml and mc, and can def go for either one (not that they'll give him a chance), not just the uke which is typically what happens to love triangle plots.
