i spent the last 2 days rereading this so first nan worked as a secretary for yiyeon who is the director of the company and nan has had a crush on yiyeon since the start of the story.
we start off where they both bump into each other at a gay bar; from there yiyeon asks nan to become f buddies no emotions attached, nan eventually agrees and yiyeon would help nan find a new job if he ever caught feelings.
fast forward nan’s feelings grow deeper as he kept getting mixed signals from yiyeon and gets pushed into confessing when some pink hair guy comes into the picture (idek if yiyeon considers him a friend) yiyeon tells him to sort out his feelings or resign; nan ends up quitting but they keep a physical relationship for like 2 months until nan overhears yiyeon tell pink hair that there is nothing between them.
from there nan cuts him off and takes a mental break vacation for a month and when he comes back yiyeon is there waiting for him at his apartment door and tells nan that he was wrong and that they should go out. Nan is over his feelings(?) and rejects him then he tries to find work but he gets rejected at every single job and knows that yiyeon is behind it. He goes to yiyeon at his job where he gets threatened to sleep w him 10x or else he is gonna mess with his friend, his brother and his personal life. Nan agrees and on the third to last meeting yiyeon locks him up at his villa and that’s where we’re at
