Ok so mine isn't exactly heart warming but I've read Eleceed up to the latest chapter and even reread it 4 times since I was bored. The story itself didn't change my life (even though it was good) BUT it did change my view slightly (for better or worse). Basically there were a few chapters explaining if a cat has part of their ear cut off, it means they were neutered (i think this is specifically for strays though). Then as I was reading the bl manhua "Demon Apartment", the dad of uke showed up in his animal form (not really an animal since he's a mythical creature) and I saw that part of his ear was cut off. I immediately went to a friend and showed her and yelled "IF I LEARNED ANYTHING FROM ELECEED, THIS MEANS THAT THE DAD WAS NEUTERED". Anyway, as I said, it isn't a heart warming story but I think it changed my life to an extent that it affects how I read things now lol.
But I'd recommend Demon Apartment 100% Xiao Bai (uke) is so cute and looks like a ball of fluff and he will totally melt ur heart
Especially the way seme (forgot his name) softens his gaze when looking at him
Gakkou No Sensei. I have been reading the manga for really such a long time, im not even sure if the author has dropped it since from what I know vol 8 was the last one released in japan. It's sad and cozy at the same time, it was like 2017 and I was a 17 year old going through a real tough period of my life and reading the chapters that would come out here really helped me going through that... Maybe its also because it kinda reminds me of my favorite anime/manga Natsume Yuujinchou, another life changing piece of media of mine..
"That summer" too. I dont think its completed here but at that time I wasnt really into korean manhwas and even less about shoujo webtoon and I believe this was the one who got me. It was eye opening and one of the male leads is a selfish bisexual 17 year old, that once again I could see me in him and seeing him get better through the story it made me feel like I could better too. Honestly I'm not the type of person who re-reads things because I have so many things to read and I remember plots quite well, but I believe That summer is about one of the few medias I have re-visited since Heebum is a character that means to me so much

Little story time but basically discovering my love for reading changed me for the better. Started reading really young which is honestly bad but it made me realise a lot of things about myself especially how it helped my cope with a lot of my scars. Discovering Bl and Gl made me be more mindful about the way i act and made me realise more things about my sexuality. Going through a hard time rn so I js really want to read some good mangas that will challenge my views or js warm my heart. Thank you!!!
