i feel like they'll get back together and like somehow his memories will be triggered so it might just make the arc more interesting cause there's lowkey not much reason to have the red string quests in the first place if nothing happened

But honestly I agree with what you said, along with the fact that I just finished reading senza replica, I’m so done with the amnesia trope
I love this series but this is one of the most unnecessary amnesia plots I've ever seen. I wish authors weren't so afraid of writing an interesting story while letting the characters just be in a relationship
