So, I first watched it's Netflix adaptation through some YT video covering it and holy, peak, the action and storytelling was absolute cinema! It's bittersweet that he had to die but I think it's one of the best endings he could have had because he finally got revenge for his brother's death and stopped everything from the very root itseld just UGH, I love it so much. The ending in the Netflix adaptation really made me bawl my eyes out because Giseok really wanted to retire and worked with his brother with his camping business
