All jaehyuk knows is that garam hates the idea of them coming he doesnt know why or what the reason is. He knows the consequences. He has grown up not caring about public image polar opposite to Garam whose teenage years were majorly impacted by consequences of a bad public image. Jh is completely of "I don't care so you don't need to care too" mentality but sadly not everyone is the same.

So imagine his frustration when the person he loves more than anyone, refuses and is outright horrified at the possibility of anyone knowing about their relationship. If garam would just communicate and tell jaehyuk why he feels the way he feels, im 100% sure jaehyuk would understand and end up apologizing again. On the far off chance jaehyuk doesn't understand even after garam communicates, then it would be justified of garam to leave.
He knows. Even homophobes know the consequences. But they would justify it by saying "they deserved it" so the consequences that followed to being outed is common. Even Jh's example of celebrities and how he got angry when Garam implied that Jh's friends were going to be homophobic also tells he knows the consequences. Jh's and ex's interaction also tells the same tale. So I think we need to stop babying him. Also you aren't gonna like the ultimatum in the newest chapter.
Jaehyuk clearly doesn't know tho, a better word for it is that he simply doesn't understand. To him its just a matter of a few ppl being bigots towards them and then a happily ever after. Han garam understands the consequences as he's lived through them, but he refuses to communicate at all. What im saying is that if he were just to explain why he feels so strongly about the situation to jeahyuk, he would understand.

Actually that tells us the exact opposite, and that he thinks its all just sunshine and rainbows. He perceives the situation with naivete, thinking that they might get some backlash but ultimately him and garam will end up happy in the end. You see this with how he refuses to think his friends could ever be homophobic and how he uses celebs as an example of how happy they could be.
Its not babying, but simply just understanding his character. Garam isn't making it any better though with how he just shuts him down and doesn't communicate with him as to why that's a bad idea.
Honestly the ppl in the comments who are blaming this all on jaehyuk and excusing garam bc of his trauma are actually infuriating. His trauma explains his fears but still doesn't excuse the fact that he refuses to communicate with jaehyuk and gets mad at him when he doesn't understand. Ppl always wanna bring up how jaehyuk was in the past as a way to excuse how garam acts towards him saying jaehyuk used to be worse. However the difference is that jaehyuk has grown sm as a character while garam is still the same guy he was from chap 1. He refuses to communicate leaving jaehyuk to make amends and apologize. The relationship feels more one sided as jaehyuk puts sm much effort while garam hasn't changed much.
Even in this situation where all jaehyuk knows is that the love of his life slapped the rings out of his hands after he confessed love to him, completely refused to tell their close friends about their relationship and won't tell him why, and iced him out before leaving him. Bro has no knowledge as to why garams doing this and yet ppl are being mad at him for not understanding. And he STILL WENT TO APOLOGIZE. He's treating jaehyuk slightly similar to how that guy treated him. He clearly not ready for a relationship since his trauma still affects him sm. Honestly I see why he's leaving but he shoulda just done it officially and told jaehyuk first.
