I get it we may be attracted to the characters in these bl stories but aren't we as a collective getting tired about romanticism and ignorance of rape in these stories??? It's distasteful and it's giving off that these writers can't see gay love as anything but forced. Another story where the male lead is raped until he falls in love with his main rapist that he thinks isn't as bad as the other rapists because he is capable of having the smallest bit more compassion for him than the other rapists. Oh and ofc you can't forget the part where the main character falls.in love with the rapist because everyone else is worse and then the sex becomes "consensual " when in reality it's just the main character getting manipulated and adjusted to the trauma. But its fine because we will all say it's a great story and ignore the rape in it because the rapist is hot. Rape isn't sexy no mater how hot the character. I understand it's just a story but 80% of these gay stories are just rape compilations and I'm super fxcking tired of it bro. Its sh!t representation. Do better..
