The novel is also really great, reading vol 5 now. Yea Nagisa (Demon girl) and Sara, Eterna, and Ink are hella weird. I don't know why the author wouldn't age them up or make their relationship more like friends. But yea its been amazing following the main 2 Flum and Milkit (God! she has such an awful name lol)
I read the novel first and then it got licensed. I've been chasing the novel since forever until I saw the manga. It's very good story. Anything that gets animated is like a hit and miss and pray to the anime gods the production team doesn't butcher the entire series

I watched the anime before reading the manga and all I can say is anime did this so dirty. Like lore wise and story wise the anime cutted out so many scenes its basically a different story.. aside from that another thing I wanna talk about is the diddy intent in some relationships. Like there are two ten year old that are lowkey implied to be crushed on by two main gals (saw the art from the Light novel) demon gal and ink like demon gal is said to be in love with sara? Could be translation error I hope but das what I saw. And like the weird tension with ink and eterna, leaves a weird taste in my mouth I dont like it. But if we REALLY IGNORE all that its a genuinely good series 9/10
