Idk about the sister. Why would she be so weirdly attached to this caveman mindset of "sis sucks, so I win". It's either lazy writing on the author's part or this Darlas/Dallas guy is making her delusional like that on purpose - is my theory anyway. I'm over the my sister is a jealous hoe cliche, so I'm hoping there's more to her than that.

it actually makes so much sense why the fl’s sister doesn’t like her. the fl’s parents treated both of their daughters differently to the point they compared the two of them & that right there is not surprising that the one that’s “favored” finds the other siblings inferior compared to them. this is a very realistic thing that I’ve seen happen with my own eyes with my siblings as well. it may sound dumb as to why the fl’s sister is the way she is but honestly it all just boils down to bad parenting. they should have treated both daughters equally & not have doted on one of them. she probably wouldn’t have turned out the way she did if she wasn’t doted on so much.

Thing is, if the narrative refuses to deal with that and just uses the little sister as a pebble on the road to be kicked around by FL under the excuse that she is a haughty little mansnatcher it does not matter.
I hope what you said is the case, makes perfect sense, we're only 9 chapters in thank god.

Dallas is part of the problem for sure though, I find him way too sus. I can see him as the type of guy to pick and choose the most obedient woman of the two. Perhaps he was just waiting for Judith to completely crumble (and enabling it via her sister) to then snatch her up as his perfect puppet wife, or he's miserable himself and idolized Judith who was the same, which is why he freaks out when she switches up all of the sudden. It's just a game theory.
