Trust me, that whole war is insane since the beginning, at this point TJ stans will defend the story for life, and Jo stans hate for life, because all they always cared was 'the end game'.
Kinda spoilers:
As a person who was never on neither side, I need to say that was definitely a frustrating read, was introduced as something deeper then it was in reality, because the beginning, damn, dealing with trauma, Ian's internal fight, story was showed as a noir, Ian wanted to start a new life, but couldn't, Jo was there to show him 'the door', he wanted to go through them, but he was stucked in the past, to the man who knew him the best, to TJ, and honestly, TJ is an amazing representative for noir genre, and as in noire, Ian remained in fatalism, in darkness, but that was the whole point of the series, and I'm happy for Ian of course, he's with a man he wanted to be, and that's amazing, but many things are missing in the plot, many unresolved, unanswered, and here I have the biggest problem with this series, because it had an amazing potential...which was wasted only to give 'the end game'
So I would say, it's up to you, if you like long love triangles and you don't expect any deep meaning from the series, many layers to dig down, this can be definitely a good ride, frustrating, heartbreaking at some points, but I would say, set the bar low, I expected too much from storytelling at the beginning and now I'm extremely dissapointed
I'm deciding if I should read this now that it's ended but I've never seen a fandom having such an even split between two MLs and to such intensity and dedication too LMAO it's interesting ngl. Idk much but to both JOstans and TJstans why do you like them and hate the other? from all the little contexts, all I know is that the Jo guy is the green flag and TJ with scar is the red flag and the MC ends up with him or smth
