you probably just forgot but the emperor neglected her as a kid, and she once directly heard him say he never saw her as a daughter, not just in the book. its possible that was never cleared up for her and she never fully believed in him again which is why she doesnt see herself as his daughter, doesnt help that hes not her biological father either.
the FL is expected to act on what she knows but the way she does things is just weird, shes fully moving in the world as if its a game, the disregard for the lives and relationships with these people. like that time that theres fully a plague going on and shes hoarding the sansal until theres enough people sick so she can be a savior, that was fully evil. she also refuses to believe that things in this universe are changing which is why shes failing tremendously. i feel like if she just acted like a decent princess and did not do all these scheming she'd be living a happy life. i mean its not like anyone really had anything against her, the emperor, philomel, and the people of the empire didnt have anything against her at all. but she just HAD to be a hero, she had to be all these things that she thinks shes entitled to, thats why shes a loser
Are we reading the same story lol...??? Are you really asking why Philomel can't accept his Majesty the Emperor??? Why Philomel would not see her world as her reality when she's not a transmigrator or reincarnator? She always lived in her own helpless reality. She's a neglected child who just coincidentally found a book detailing a future where she will become a villain and cast aside. And the Emperor makes it worst by hurting her child feeling. It's a child abuse. So why do you think Philomel will accept his Majesty...and the female Lead lol...You say Philomel took all the chances for the Emperor to trust the female lead. That a BIG FUCKING BULLSHIT. She's the imperial princess. If she have a little brain cells in her head. She doesn't need to stoop low on using every chances to step on Philomel. She just need to study hard and be with the Emperor side to gain his love. But this White Lotus Villain who is never the real princess acting all high and mighty and want to step on the very person who brought her to the Emperor...talk about egoistic narcissist loser...and there's you with little reading comprehension who put all the blame on Philomel who didn't do anything but lived her life peacefully and didn't even think of revenge
Ok friendly reminder the whole thing about her hearing her dad has already been cleared out and he even said he cant take back what he said to make it or something along those lines...again mind you the blond girl sees this as a game because IT IS A GAME according to that talking raccoon who says are you a player or a bug.. SOO OFCOURSE she is gunna think this a fantasy game. Lets not forget phinel is also talking to the hero with the game advantages she has gain from the raccoon
Read my reply to the other comment. Mind you I am not against phinel but I am also not siding with her either. Like I mention the finale neglet she recieve from him was comment she heard from her father.. the rest was legit trauma from what she read in the book nothing to do with the king himself. So what I mention before still stands .. because the female DOES not know where the villain left off she is indeed playing by the game
ok whether or not it gets cleared its still up to philomel to choose to accept him as her father, i think its really unfair of her to do that. philomel did the medicine shit not to be hailed as a hero but to save people, she even did it in secret. the FL did hoarded medicine and held back on her knowledge just to gain fame and praise, ignoring that people are actively dying because she doesnt fully accept these people to be real. you missed the point in how theyre different. ultimately this world is BOTH a game but also real. the FL is cruel for not understanding that these people in the game do matter and are not just existing for HER, completely the opposite of Philomel
Is being in a game makes you lose your moral and do shitty things? The game genre is romance so it's weird that the fake princess keep on doing shady things just to raise reputation and affection like hell I can understand if she transmigrated in some horror or survival game. Or if she transmigrated as some extra, villain or side character that going to die but demn she transmigrated as a guaranteed Princess. Even her fake mother loved her. She never experienced being abused by anyone but she decided to become asshole for the sake of it...lol
Are we reading the same story...the time she heard from the Emperor isn't even discussed properly. The Emperor haven't apologized about that and since from her childhood she was already neglected...that speech in his office are just the top of it....when does the Emperor apologize? He just dodge the issue thinking Philomel will forget about it. Philomel isn't even a young child with mature mindset but a true young child who received neglect and emotional abuse and finding out she will be cast out by the emperor from the book, is she saint that can forgive everything? She's also a human being who can get hurt not some psychopath like that fake Ellensia
But again she gain fame either way she build up trust ans reputation. She didnt do this as a game until she realised this is an actual game. The female lead is basely going on the story. She needs to build development because technically that how it should be played. Our female lead didnt need to because her main goal was to save up and leave. Blonde here is to build trust according to the system
Read again I am not saying its unfair. I am saying that it went her way because she knew the story. Even though she didnt know It was a "game" she still played the game to her advantage. The other female started not as a kid but as a grown young adult so she didnt take timw to know the character and fhe current mother that is in jail so to her this game is hard mode
It's not about being good or not...she's just a third rate egocentric sociopath...she's playing game lol she came from 3d world and that game not virtual reality but a classic visual novel game so you're argument of her seeing the world as a only game when there's real person standing with their own thinking makes you think you're not just any game or you will doubt the existence of it but what she did nothing only focusing on her raising her own self worth which is really useless cause she's already a imperial princess AND YOU SAYING SHE DIDNT KNOW PHILOMEL IS A GOOD PERSON MAKES ME WANT TO THROW UP YIKES YOU SURE KNEW HOW TO DEFEND AN EGOISTIC PERSON...EWW, PHILOMEL BRING HER TO THE IMPERIAL PALACE, DIDNT BOTHER HER, QUIETLY LEAVE THE SPOTLIGHT AND EVEN ESCAPED FROM PALACE AND YOU'VE GOT THE NERVE TO EXPLAIN THAT FAKE PRINCESS DIDNT KNOW PHILOMEL GOODNESS...YIKES
Where's the HARD MODE you're talking to. It's just simple there's no game to begin with. FAKE Ellensia only need to RETURN to the IMPERIAL PALACE...and that's already over. She can focus on a lot of things other than stepping on PHILOMEL. WILL SHE DIE IF SHE WILL NOT FOLLOW ANY ROUTE? OR ANY TIME LIMIT FOR THE QUEST? THERE'S NONE SO YOUR ARGUMENT IS POINTLESS

Ok ok, bash me all you want, but I’m not siding with Philomel in the recent chapter (chapter 106).
I get that she had to rely on the book to survive at first. But at some point, she knew she wasn’t just a character anymore..she understood that if she didn’t act differently, she’d end up with a tragic fate.
That said… it took her way too long to accept that this is real life, not just a story. Especially when she clearly acknowledges it herself when talking to the Nasar after her told her he wanted tobe there for her. If she truly sees this as reality now, then why doesn’t she accept the king as her father?
And another thing . why does she expect the female lead not to act like the actual female lead? She literally said her body was transferred. What is she supposed to do? Live humbly in a world she doesn’t even understand? Of course she’s going to act based on what she knows.
If anything, from the female lead’s perspective, Philomel still looks like the villain..just one who became self-aware. And honestly… that’s not even wrong. Philomel did take away all the opportunities that could’ve helped build trust between the female lead and everyone else
