There was one panel where he had like, flashbacks or smth but it doesn't look like it happened it. The faceless woman in the flashback kind of looks like mc and I thought he maybe reincarnated or can read the future so he tried to prevent it by locking her up. Just a theory tho bc the dad seems be a good person and abusing her seemed out of character. And yes I know how abusers work but it didn't seem right from the way the author presented him as a character.

It looks like the mom and the brother are under some kind of spell or curse that make them act like that against her, like they hate her, they are concious but they don't have control of how they act against her and they hate it, that is why the mom is crying when she yell to the MC or when the MC decided to leave the family, the mom was hurting because she was hurting her daughter!
Like they are being controled by a novel's plot or something like that. And the dad was protecting her from her own future and the prince or something like that, I didn't understand that part or why he decided to do it that way... at least the mom and the brother can be justified because they are under a spell/curse/plot force...
no but WHY did her family act that way tho??i get the father might have some oh so great grand reason to act like an asshole but the mother???and i guess the child picked it up from his parents but can someone just spoil me about the WHY of things and when the karma strucks the family
