As a fan of wet sand I do not understand the end wet sand could have change the yaoi side by showing that a love triangle is messy not always in one side and also is not necessarily need to end with one person’s. The story was about Ian and how he’s going to end the cycle and there he jump back on it. I would have love seeing Ian living for himself and learn that he can do it learn and heal from the trauma without needing no one and I feel it could have change the yaoi world because every story finishes good but we need different ending different views. I’m really tired to read story that always end with a good ending I want this world to improve and to have different perspectives and different story. At this points the yaoi (manwha) world will be only the same thing every time. But I do love wet sand and it will always be my favorite yaoi
