On top of that he’s like 24! Or wtv but definitely early twenties so he’s super immature and has literally not had to actually conform to anyone or anything and he became rich one day so he gained power to not gaf. Anyway the jk hate is honestly laughable at this point because he’s literally the same person and it takes literally months, timeeee for a person to change and be better but there’s non stop complaints on the development of the story so what are we really complaining ab, the fact that he’s still an immature asshat or the fact that the story is actually taking a pace so we can actually see the development of said asshat. Idk guys just chill out and support Dan cause he’s the MC and he deserves a whole lot. :P
I know it's frustrating but it's important to keep in mind that he's still a toddler emotion-wise. He's never been taught how to regulate himself and all that's been beaten into him is that he has to conceal everything and protect his pride. He is impulsive and angry because he isn't able to understand grief or regret. He literally doesn't understand that his past is nothing to be embarrassed about. That's literally a child learning how to indentify his emotions before he can learn how to regulate himself. Bros an entire project to be solved.
