I specifically didn't asked you to explain the plot to me so you can keep your little opinion to yourself.

I'll just try to sum up everything, some I'm sure you're aware of at least a good amount of this:

Mugo and Ja-heon were lovers in a past life. They got separated for some reason and Ja-heon died somehow (can't remember), but Mugo went through crazy torture that turned him into a god by fracturing his mind (that's a bit of an over simplification). He's now an immortal god-like being but with serious dissociative identity issues and he's forced to serve Ja-heon's family since his ancestors were the ones that turned him into this.

But now that Ja-heon, the reincarnation of Mugo's lover, is here (sent to be a part of a sacricial ritual that his family does all the time to keep Mugo under control and not like... killing and eating everyone ig) Mugo seems to be healing and his disassociated identities are gradually re-assimilating or at least getting along better (I think). Something, which if successful, would imply both his freedom from Ja-heon's family and the loss of his godhood (...I think. That part is just my theory.)

Part of Mugo (the older, dignified part) is fighting against that because he seems attached to his godhood for reasons that we don't really know. It might just be inherent to that part of his identity since that part might have been created as a means of accepting this new role as a god.

Anyway, that part of Mugo is coming around so that's the plot we've been dealing with in the foreground, but in the background we also have Ja-heon's family, who would be super against what's happening because Mugo is the source of their power (I think more just in a "his godly energy brings us wealth" kinda way)
I don't think they know everything that's going on, but since Ja-heon is still alive and Mugo has been killing the people who showed up to snoop or interfere, they know the normal sacrifice ritual didn't go quite as planned.
There's more background drama with them, but we haven't really seen enough of all that to really know and understand all the players in their power struggles and politics (or maybe we have and I just wasn't paying close enough attention)

It's a relatively simple plot, but the story is told very subversively with much left unsaid so you have to imply and read between the lines with some of it. So this was just my interpretation and someone else might have a different take.
