The least of this work's problems is the endgame.
That isn't the real problem. It is the bad writing of the story, that ended with plot holes, without characters growth and so many questions unanswered, and with things that make no sense and contradict what the author herself stated during the story ^^U

I’m watching the results, TJ is currently leading 48:35, amazing. I’ve always been drawn to toxic tops so I might give this a try to see what the fuss is about.
I hear you, and I’ll be keeping this in mind when I start to read it.
