i read the novel so taekjoo realises hes just a dog to zhenya and hes fed up with the life hes living its a life or death situation and zhenya is the one in control. taekjoo accidentally falls asleep in the bathroom and he wakes up to zhenya above him and zhenya offers him his hand and taekjoo refuses then zhenya is annoyed and refers him to an animal he then reaches out again and once again he refuses his hand. Zhenya gets so mad at him basically threw him and bit him then Olga interrupts (saved him). Later that day, taekjoo doesnt want to sleep in the same room as zhenya he goes back into their room to get the blanket however zhenya was asleep on the chair taekjoo is quiet however he gets caught… he is questioned and taekjoo replies back i dont want to stay here and tells taekjoo to stay out of his way. zhenya is so mad FUCKING mad taekjoo tries to fight back but he is overpowered zhenya strangles him (this is so sad how its written) taekjoo cant win and his last words “ I feel sorry for you too..” zhenya suddenly stops and instantly regrets it he is mad at taekjoo yet is so upset by what he did (he had blood on his fingernails from digging into taekjoos neck) taekjoo is unconscious zhenya crashes tf out and gets a helicopter. dw olga looks after taekjoo and he does regain consciousness. then they hear helicopters approaching its the military they try to hunt them down however taekjoo gets olga to safety however he choses a different route he gets chased he gets shot and hids in a man cave hole zhenya returns and realises taekjoo is missing he hunts down the military and finds blood trails and finds taekjoo on the verge of death (this is when i think zhenya realises that taekjoos life is valuable to him) he brings him back to the house and revives him they did not speak when taekjoo regains consciousness (poor baby has been through hell) however at night taekjoo sees zhenya at night sitting outside taekjoo goes out and they talk (this scene is so beautifully written) THEN olga is ready to leave and taekjoo helps her with her luggage whilst they plan to leave together he takes her meds creates a bomb.. he drops a suitcase and zhenya hears it he hears the helicopter and grabs a gun he sees taekjoo taking olga as a hostage zhenya tells taekjoo to come to him then taekjoo BOMBS THE BUILDING WOOOO zhenya falls looks up and shouts “TAEKJOO” … taekjoo returns to korea and theres sm lore that im not gonna explain but his life basically gets worse basically his superiors are corrupt and theres a warrant out for his arrest (he never rests) he visits his mother in hospital disguised as a doctor and zhenya was sitting by her bedside.. (he came back for him) they are surrounded by police and taekjoo can either give in or take zhenyas help so THEY BEAT THE POLICES ASSSSSS then go this full on runaway zhenya gets shot in the arm however they make it to a motel for the night and zhenya passionately kisses taekjoo for the first time + they go crazy in bed but then he goes into shock from the blood loss and taekjoo leaves him but zhenya whispers “why…” ( side note i forgot to mention taekjoo keeps dreaming of a little kid the kid basically is crying and tries to hold onto taekjoo obv its zhenya but shows that he has attachment issues) taekjoo has been put through so much but he cant stand to leave zhenya dying by himself so he gets first aid and helps zhenya and im just gonna breeze through the next bit but taekjoo gets surrounded by police zhenya helicopter saves him they give the evidence to support taekjoos trial and the superiors are charged zhenya and taekjoo agree when it is finished they will give eachother a chance to become a couple i havent rlly gotten into zhenyas character development hes still crazy but for taekjoo and is so gentle towards him. after this theres rlly sweet moments such as meeting taekjoos mother (ALSO HE GETS RID OF THAT FUCKASS BUTT TATT but thst was earlier in the lore) but yeah they open up to eachother zhenya is gentle with him and they travel i love their story sm
