You know what i couldn't control my actions and emotions while reading this manga i mean literally my emotions on the rollercoaster ride going up and down. This whole manga kept me engaged from the beginning till the end. But the most sad part was when she was in pain and trying her best to endure the pain and not giving up on life, she was holding on it while shinpei was giving his best to do everything she wanted. To have a happy life together till they get old. But satoko's health get worse and shinpei brought her to mitsuharu's mansion to get treatment....at that time shinpei thought satoko must have died so he just left the mansion without taking a look at satoko's face, he was hurt, broken and in pain that he couldn't face the cruel scene of that. It was literally broke me, made me choke in tears....my heart ached, i felt pain my was filled in tears and my throat choke, it did hurt. (╥﹏╥) I literally thought the same as shinpei that satoko has died but when kotaro came and handed shinpei the letter from satoko that made me shocked like WHAT THE HELL AND I KEPT PHONE ASIDE AND "JUST BREATH" LET IT DIGEST THIS...and then i scroll down and found out that she was alive...this all fucking time but I'm glad that she made it out of alive and shinpei was learnt to keep going alone for satoko's sake. He never hurt again anybody.
The ending was unexpected and that took me hours to proceed through my mind this all new information. Like you can say "unexpected happy ever after" ending. Now I'm waiting for spin chapters to read like i want to see how satoko looks like in her old-age because they didn't show in manga her old-age looks instead they showed their face and body in young form. #－.－)
