Outside of the amount of rape against the mc this story has one of the few big brained plotlines I've seen in BL like the tying of concepts from season 1 to season 3 is some top tier storytelling, not to mention the deep diving into the characters minds, insecurities, and trauma and how it affected both their past and current choices so detailed. I also didn't expect the 1st real sex scene between Horus and Seth to be so like idk real?? I thought it was gonna be like luxurious but it was kinda goofy clumsy and desperate and idk it felt more sweet that way. I'd say the only downside is that rape scenes feel sort of romanticized mainly the scenes with Osiris and the foreign god (foreign god just helped him escape from sex slavery and fucked him to heal him from the aphrodisiac or sm shit while Seth is telling him he doesn't wanna fuck him...)
