So i know some korean and I think I got the gist. After Jiho's grandmother died he cried to the twins that he was all alone now. And when he was prepairing to leave them he imagined that at some time they would break up with him (and lets be real here, they are not dating and their relationship is too superficial). I think since he doesn't have anyone and he has traumas about his family not caring about him he thought the twins would also eventually abandon him so he prefered abandoning them first.
I think he did the right thing but with the wrong reason. In a way it will be good bc the twins took him for granted and now they will have to understand their feelings, show that they actually care for Jiho and grovel.
