This, it infuriates me when people leave a rude message under someone's comment. Especially those who complain about people critiquing or saying their opinion about the story or a character, there is a reason why the comment section exists and getting mad at people who use the feature is wild.
SOME of you guys criticize the story then go and hate on the author on twitter which is why they had to turn their comment section off bc SOME OF YALL were getting mad at them even tho they said to wait and see how their story progresses bc there’s going to be three seasons

i agree! but there's a balance to be had. the BL community is teeming with readers who hate-read series despite the fact that they claim to dislike toxic yaoi. like they have their notifs ON every chap just to continuously comment negative stuff/hate every week. it gets annoying bc there's oftentimes trigger warnings & community consensus that it's red flag. even after reading a few chaps & confirming that it is indeed toxic, these ppl still refuse to drop it. and they make it everyone else's problem bc they're always complaining no matter what happens.
this is ofc separate from valid critique of a series. and obv it's stupid to believe ppl shouldn't discuss how they feel abt a digital manhwa.. online lol. i just wish people could express how they feel respectfully & for readers to know when to drop a series if yk the themes aren't for you. idk blame media illiteracy i guess ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
I genuinely don’t understand why so many of you guys get mad or annoyed when others discuss the story. This is what the comment section is for: to discuss and critique the story.
People are allowed to share what emotions they’re feeling after reading, whether it’s disgust or anger. People are allowed to dislike the direction of a story. People are allowed to be disgusted by or against rape.
If you can’t handle other people’s opinions, don’t bother looking at the comments and keep reading.
