yeah cause this is really a realistic scenario of how a person can change. this is why sometimes it’s also the person saying “you didn’t changed at all” fault, it is a rare situation but it can happen that they are too impatient but for a person to change their whole personality it takes a lot of time if there are trauma in it (just like in this story) it’s even worse
