This is good, but why does the story focus more on the romance than on the gangster vs. cop life? I mean, it's like the cops already know the face of the gangster boss. Then there's a scene where the boss throws the person who kidnapped uke into the sea, but it seems like there's no investigation. So where's the boss? It seems like he's only mentioned and brought up occasionally, then ends without any follow-up. He's mentioned several times by seme, what if the uke goes back to his gangster life?
I haven't read the novel, so I don't know if the story is the same or not. But I think 103 chapters just to tell the romance is too much, and I think it could be shortened further.
