It ain't as bad but if you can't stomach dumb plots, it isn't for you.

This feels more like those soap opera dramas i watch in TV as a kid. Misunderstandings galore. It even has the trope of 'take this money and leave my son.'

For the first few chapters, I could get behind the misunderstandings especially for the uke's part since the seme keeps giving mixed signals. For the seme's part, I mean with parents like that no wonder he's as dumb as a brick when it comes to his emotions.

Still, with how low my expectations are for omegaverse contract partners drama like this, I'm just glad there was no neglect or physical abuse or rape while they were together. The sexual part well.. is debatable but the uke did consent (it's just that the uke says no a lot when they're at it and the seme doesn't listen when he says no or wait, [artist needs to stop that if they want to portray loving sex or else the seme would be an asshole instead of the uke being shy or something.] and the age gap... is a bit but at the very least, they weren't together when they were young and met up only years after?[artist could've fixed this by making the age gap a bit smaller because 14 and 19 with their first kiss is horrendous or they could've cut out the kiss scene all together.]).

But anw, the seme isn't an irredeemable piece like the other dominant alpha shits. Actually, you could definitely see how the seme likes the uke but just couldn't process it with how backwards his parents teachings were. It was funny in a way.

However, yeah this isn't some amazing plotline. If you've been eating good BL, this would taste bland as hell but if you've eaten worst shit.. This one would be palatable and you could even get behind it. It's just a matter of what you've read before it to compare 'cause seriously, it ain't as bad imo.
