can you read the novels on that site? maybe I'm missing something obvious but there's no place I can click to see the actual chapters, just a list of when they were published, and the reviews. do I have to make an account or smth?

You don't have to read all the novels to understand the others but, I think it's better. Espe because Nick and Kyle appear in DTR and then you know their story. And Nathan also appears in Egg Benedict.
