there is honestly a lot of things to be spoiled, so if you want any specifics, i can definitely spoil them. anyway, the most important thing to spoil about this story is the gaia system, and the fact that what theyre currently going through is considered the ‘tutorial’ … basically, there are ‘corrupt beings’ that exist in the furthest parts of the universe, and they mindlessly make their way towards developing civilizations to destroy them. gaia, who was just a god watching over the universe at the time, noticed this and decided to create the gaia system as a way to help those civilizations fight against the corrupt beings since they couldnt directly interfere. as a way to help these civilizations get used to the gaia system and the corrupt beings, they created this tutorial stage, with the black portal at the end of the great dungeon being the way to clear it and advance to the next level. (after clearing the tutorial, it starts working like a game where they advance in level, increasing the difficulty of dungeons) yoon seo will find most of this out pretty soon. im not sure if this is exactly what you wanted spoiled, but there are other things like the fight between kwon jihan and yoon seo in the great dungeon, the love in han river show being connected to the gaia system, certains parts of yoon seo’s memories from the great dungeon being manipulated, yoon seo’s healing resistance being removed, and domin actually being alive that i could spoil if youd like to know about them too

yes he actually is alive!! he even becomes one of the gaia system administrators and plays a role in saving yoon seo close to the end of the main story ^^

anyway, ill do my best to explain everything i mentioned before in separate comments, and im sorry if its not the best haha…

at a certain point in the great dungeon, hwashim will reveal that he actually has the gaia’s mind skill, (the skill can manipulate peoples memories/overwrite them with different scenarios from what actually happened) but that two out of the three slots available with the skill had already been used on yoon seo. (one being about domin and the other being about the black portal at the end of the dungeon) as they progress through the dungeon, hwashim is able to help yoon seo regain his memories of what actually happened.
in the memories that he lost, he learns that domin couldnt handle the constant state of mana exhaustion he was in, and decided that he wouldnt keep using the event horizon skill. everyone knew that skill was the only way they wouldve been able to complete the dungeon, so he also decided he wouldnt keep using kill all the remaining revengers to at least let them rest peacefully. kangjin, who was with him at the time, had yoon seo called over in hopes of stopping domin from what he was trying to do. once yoon seo got there, domin switched his focus to yoon seo, wanting to kill him first. while watching this, kangjin knew he couldnt let yoon seo die, so to stop him, he used gaia’s shadow to take the event horizon skill. (gaia’s shadow steals other skills at the cost of the original owners life) at that moment, the watchers sword skill had activated to show yoon seo that the gaia’s dream skill had been activated, and that domin wasnt actually dead but instead in a state between life and death. yoon seo obviously tried to say something about this by begging domin to wake up, but before he could explain anything, kangjin had the original holder of gaia’s mind manipulate his memories so he would be able to continue fighting.
in yoon seo’s memories of the black portal, he believed it had disappeared shortly after first appearing because certain qualifications hadnt been met, but when he regains his memories, he learns that the portal hadnt ever closed. only gaia skill holders could enter the black portal to either clear a bunch of corrupted beings and proceed to the next stage, or one of them could sacrifice themselves so humanity would have another chance at the dungeon in 10 years. both yoon seo and kangjin saw this, and kangjin, (now holding almost every gaia skill) knew that he couldnt let yoon seo go into that portal because he would try to sacrifice himself. instead, he manipulates yoon seo’s memories before giving him to la bijina and the others, and then goes on to sacrifice himself in the black portal.

once they clear the great dungeon for the second time, yoon seo and jihan learn about the black portal and what they need to do to clear it. (obviously, they already have a plan to use a large bomb to clear it) but yoon seo had been pretty worried about this, and at this point didnt even have enough mana to activate the shield that could protect them from the bomb. so, he instead decides to fight jihan and push him out of the exit portal so he could sacrifice himself without any interference. obviously, jihan couldve tried to fight back, but he was terrified of anything happening to yoon seo because of the healing resistance. in the end, yoon seo uses gaia’s earth to push jihan and riceball into the exit portal, and goes into the black portal by himself. jihan ends up in a space between earth and the great dungeon afterwards, and ends up speaking with domin about yoon seo (this is actually partially shown in one of jihans dreams with trimule) and domin pushes him back into the great dungeon so he can save yoon seo. immediately, he rushes into the black portal and chooses the option to fight the corrupt beings before yoon seo can even say anything. thanks to what domin said, jihan helps yoon seo unlock a new skill that creates a small house with the ability to protect heroes. thanks to that skill, theyre able to defeat the black portal and even speak directly with the watcher (a god who watches over the beginning and ending of the universe, and is also one of yoon seo’s guardian gods)

after clearing the black portal, the love in han river show explodes in popularity because of how similar the story is to what theyre currently going through despite the fact that the show came out before dungeons first appeared. (“In the last episode, someone approaches the winning couple from the restaurant. It turns out that this competition was actually to select the Kimchi Jjigae masters who would reach the ultimate Kimchi Jjigae world, and it ends with a message saying the the new Kimchi Jjigae world will unfold and that they should become the pioneers. In other words, it was a tutorial for the newbies before entering the new Kimchi Jjigae universe.” this being a short description of the show from early on in the novel) obviously, everyone wanted to know about the original writer of the show, including yoon seo and jihan. theyre able to find the writer eventually, and it turns out that the writer, or writers, are actually 3 humanoid robots that come from another planet that went through the same tutorial, but had failed it a few times. (if you arent able to defeat the corrupt beings in the black portal, the gods will quickly destroy your world to keep the beings from from spreading too far. some civilizations were able to survive by leaving their planet on a spaceship and settling down on a new planet, which was the case for these robots) these robots had actually created the show as a way to warn/prepare humanity for the gaia system and the dungeons in the best way they could. (i dont exactly remember what they said, but im pretty sure gaia/the other gods would block any of their attempts to directly mention the system/dungeons) these robots had also done similar things on other planets, using songs, books, and other forms of art to warn those civilizations. yoon seo and jihan eventually begin working with these robots, and they even travel through space with them to learn more about the other planets in the gaia system as well as to find a potion that would remove yoon seo’s healing resistance

theyre able to eventually find a potion that can remove yoon seo’s healing resistance, but before they can actually use it, seokyoung (the original founder of the guid jihan and yoon seo are apart of, who everyone believed to be dead) suddenly appeared in a state between life and death, and the only way to bring him out of that state was the potion they had just found. (during the first great dungeon, seokyoung had stayed behind to protect the world from all the other dungeons that would appear while most of the awakeners were away. due to a lack of awakeners, clearing those dungeons had obviously become extremely difficult, and seokyoung had failed to clear a dungeon before it exploded. in the few seconds before it exploded, one of the awakeners fighting with seokyoung used their skill to send him to the safest place outside of the dungeon, which ended up being with yoon seo and jihan who had the potion that would save him) since they only had one potion, they had to decide who to use it on, and obviously yoon seo wanted to use the potion on seokyoung, but jihan wanted to keep the potion for yoon seo. they have a small fight over this, and its eventually decided that the potion will be used on seokyoung while jihan is in a dungeon. when seokyoung wakes up and learns about his situation and yoon seo’s healing resistance, he reveals that he actually has gaia’s touch, which is a skill that can get rid of the healing resistance. thanks to seokyoung, yoon seo’s finally free from his healing resistance, and he even receives an ego weapon (a weapon like riceball) that seokyoung didnt have any use for. yoon seo gives this weapon to jihan, and thats basically where the story ends.

i sort of explained how domin survived in the comment about yoon seo’s memories, but basically thanks to gaia’s dream, he was put in a deep sleep for about 100 days to save him from dying. nobody knew about this because yoon seo wasn’t able to mention it before having his memories manipulated, and domin was only able to wake up after they had cleared the great dungeon. due to how the dungeons work, they usually reset after theyve been cleared, but thanks to gaia’s dream, and him being buried, domin ended up merging with the dungeon. since he basically became one with the dungeon, he was also connected to the gaia system, and with no way of being separated from it, he became a new administrator of the system.
when yoon seo and jihan speak with the watcher after clearing the black portal, they learn that hes still in training, so we dont really see him after the one time he spoke with jihan before pushing him back into the great dungeon to save yoon seo. i think they do mention speaking to him in the dungeon at some point in the side stories, but we never actually get to see that happen.. so thats really all i can say about that

Oh god I commented before your last two! So wait Seokyoung has gaias touch the whole time and didnt reveal it when they were looking for gaias people? I mean maybe the skill wasn't as useful to him then but I feel like he could've maybe gotten rid of the resistance before they got into the dungeon if he did have it
Although maybe he got it later on? Wouldn't make much sense

So that's what their fight was about.. I really was curious since it seemed like one of them wanted to like turn against the world for each other while the other one was like nah let's save everyone but then their future wouldnt make sense

im sorry if i caused some confusion T_T .. seokyoung was only active around the time of the first great dungeon, (10-12 years ago) and not much was really known about the gaia skills and how important they were to the great dungeon. (the original owners of all the other gaia skills hadnt even revealed having those skills until about halfway through the dungeon since they hadnt realized the importance of them or that other people had similar skills) seokyoung was one of the few people to stay behind during the first great dungeon, so he wouldnt have known anything about his gaia skill being so important. by the time that yoon seo received his healing resistance and exited the great dungeon with the 3 other remaining revengers, seokyoung had already gone through a separate dungeon that he could not clear before it exploded, and was not around to use his gaia’s touch skill.
im not entirely sure how him getting sent into the future worked, but when that awakener used their skill to send seokyoung out of the dungeon that wouldve killed him, he ended up with the yoon seo and jihan more than 10 years in the future who had just received the potion that would be used to remove the healing resistance.
if seokyoung had still been around, he definitely would have used his skill to remove yoon seo’s healing resistance, but due to his failure in another dungeon, he wasnt able to do so until much later.

yeaa hwashim was always pretty suspicious.. but he hid his gaia skill and also the fact that he was an S rank because he wanted to protect people who fought in lower ranking dungeons, especially since people who didnt even have powers to fight with would sometimes be assigned to clear those dungeons
