I'll explain it for you. The story is interesting and the characters are interesting. The story only just started. But Su Ah is a wolf in sheeps clothing so people don't like HIM. I don't like him but I am addicted to this story like crack and I love Juhyeok. We know the relationship is toxic. It is not wrong to criticize the toxicity in a relationship. People do not have to like every single thing about what they read like mindless sheep. We are human beings. We have layers and curiosity and believe it or not, OPINIONS. Now for the people who went after the author they are wrong.
And yes. We have read worse. However, Su Ah was held to a higher standard than those red flags and black flags. I have read much worse and seen even more disturbing scenes and didn't bother to really comment on it. The problem is the fan base and how people are acting like what Su Ah is doing and what he had done in the past isn't wrong. It's fine to like toxic romance but if you can't even admit what he did wrong then you probably don't actually like it as much as you think you do if you can't even admit he was dead wrong for most of this story. Which is exactly what the fan base does and it's very VERY frustrating to see people pretend he does no wrong but then say "it's supposed to be toxic." That's an oxymoron.
I for one cannot stand jinx. I actually dropped it around chapter 60 something but even though I HATE Jaekyung with a passion, I gave him a chance and like this time with You Are My World, I really liked Kim Dan. We're only on chapter 19 of this bl. Many bls have awful tops that turn into pretty good ones so we stick around for future development. That doesn't mean we ignore the abuse and manipulation though. Because we are not mindless sheep who go along with everything a story does.
It's very unrealistic for people to expect no criticism for Su Ah's actions or for everyone to just go away. If people are still reading but complaining about Su Ah, it's probably because they're still enjoying the story, just not the god damn rape. And the same people who don't want people to criticize Su Ah, criticize Juhyeok. So they're hypocritics. If they don't like Juhyeok, why are they still reading? You see how that's ridiculous and hypocritical? Like you can't dislike a top and only love him but you can hate the bottom even though he's the victim. People have OPINIONS but we can still enjoy a story even if those opinions are negative.
Also the art is good.
Some of you surprise me so much, how can you complain about the story chapter after chapter and keep reading it? If you don't like it, read something else.
The premise is that it is a toxic relationship and most likely you all read much worse stories than this and not complain a tenth like here. It's so lame
