Even though I have not read this one's novel but I always feel there are some gaps. There is some discontinuity that's why maybe we all feel they lack emotional connection

Idk about this because i feel like the emotional connection is well conveyed spcially when you comapre it to the beginning. Ig i see it differently
focused too hard on the world-building, and not enough on the character development or the plot
