Because there are other aspects of the concept of omegaverse that can be used as plot device like how it is in the story with the stereotypes, discrimination, and injustice. how the alpha was overworked just because of his status as n alpha and how even though when the omega was young and sexually assaulted he was victim blamed yknow those kinds of societal problems.
