I agree. I’m only holding out hope that the reason it’s still on is to stop Owen from running and possibly ending up running into Locke and getting locked up there. He’s in a really vulnerable position but right now, he’s limited in movement. With an alpha without suppressants no less. I think it’s safer for BOTH of them that Owen is locked up. Owen can’t escape without treatment and if needed, Nick can haul up in an opposite corner and Owen can’t physically get to him so Nick can push through with just his willpower. That’s my hope at least.
Locke and Owen are weaklings. Nick is big and strong. I don’t know if it’s actually impossible to remove or just that Locke finds it impossible to remove both for himself and for Owen to remove it himself. I don’t think Nick’s first move would be to remove it purely because forcibly sobering someone who is high on drugs and forcibly doing a quick withdrawal is so unbelievably painful and dangerous for all parties involved that it’s usually best if the person is knocked out or at least just restrained. If I was him, I’d probably look for something else to tie him down to the “bed” so that I can push him through withdrawals without him hurting himself. That’s only what I’d do if i was using a drug compound to force him in withdrawals though.

I know Nick is focused on saving Owen but I wish the first thing he did was remove that fucking chain collar off Owen, am I the only one that it has been bothering? Or maybe he will leave it there so he doesn't lose control and mark Owen will he is out of it, still it bothers me.
