completely agree! the story started off so good and had so much potential, but the doctor just kept acting more and more dumb like, no way this is real! even in fiction you gotta make some things sort of believable. And this aint it

That doctor has the self preservation of a flowerpot. Going to the protest physically when he could've observed from afar. Going to the basement with no back up exit plans, or any plans at all. I must have missed it, but why did he go and met up with "father" this time? What is his plan to actually stop him? He's been yapping about understanding him, but to what end? The author rhink they're being profound but this is just dumb
