lions and panthers don’t occupy the same environments.. lions are built for open savannahs where they can congregate and camouflage with the grasses n shit, while panthers are built for dense jungles and swamps and are typically solitary.. they always gotta pit the kitties against each other.. worse yet, they made the darker skinned panther folk villainous and more “tribal” than the posh ass lions.. like bro rich indigenous cultures exist where both of these cats are from, and it would’ve been sick as fuck to see those cultures at least somewhat represented.. but no.. we get type-casted darker-skinned dude tryna kill two kids.. for his people? ig?
LET ALONE THE BLUEBIRD FL- like cmon man there’s birds from Africa thatre cool like honeyguides and secretary birds.. or even a cuckoo, a bird that routinely parasitizes others nests. i get that blue is pretty, but by her coloration she’s a male bird! trans FL? i doubt the author intended that (unfortunately)
Furthermore the world building in this is kinda shit and it feels like the FL is on a lil scavenger hunt or in an escape room instead of figuring out important stuff. even when she realized who the cat was she didn’t react much at all.. also wtf is going on w the time loop/travel/prophecy? (⊙…⊙ )
