I see some people in the comments complaining about the characters being insecure with dating "previously straight" men. Let me tell you, even in contries where same-sex/gender relationship are well known or accepted (which japan isn't btw) that's already a very real insecurity and it's based on very real experience. Societal pressure and fear of rejection/abandonment is real and people who like both men and women alike may choose the "safest option" if they feel it's convenient. This absolutely does not mean that bisexual people are all like that, but there's fear of that being the case that just won't go away unless you have constant reassurance and trust building. Even lesbians and gays suffer with het-comp and can end up trying to date people of the opposite sex/gender just to see if they can do it, some do it for years. That's how strong the pressure is. Personally, I live in a country where homossexual relationships are pretty normalized, and yet I hear homophobic comments from people everyday, not even towards me, because I have to hide it at work, but general mocking comments. That shit makes you defensive all the time, and overtime, it can make you very insecure about being who you are...
Anyways, sorry for venting, I really love this manga because I love Drag (queens and kings and monsters) and I love BL, so it's just awesome to have this here!
