What chapter was that? I need to do a reread. The thing is that the omega is extremely inexperienced, and presents that clueless vibe the entire story. Minwoo and the omega don’t even have much intimate moments but you know the feelings are there because they grew up with each other. Alphas and omegas who grow up with each other are for a most part more compatible and more likely to develop feelings for each other and bond in the future. Did he mark without consent ? No… I’m not saying he’s a saint, I’m just saying he’s the better option.
The ML alpha is fuckin hot but just unbearable because the entire story it’s like he’s “breaking in” the young omega, and teaching him what it’s like to be an omega. Basically no foreplay at all or any intamcy outside of sex until later. Although I love BDSM and stuff like that I thought it was gross that he puts the omega in a collar pretty early in the story almost “claiming” him in a way but as an object and without ever showing a genuine concern or feelings for his sex partner. Also the story is called Feel my Benefit which is a play on the slang friends with benefits, but they aren’t even friends. For the most part at school they act like strangers who have sex. He’s using sex toys on the omega by ch 10, like atleast let him get used to your dick. And mainly it’s the fact that the omega himself knew or thought what he was doing was wrong in a way, because he didn’t want to tell anyone he had a relationship with an alpha, especially a relationship that was so perverse from the start.
Like I said, I need to reread to get the overall bigger picture and familiarize myself, but the top never strikes me as a good character. Not to mention the fact that the Omega is not entirely attractive and isn’t regarded as attractive in his college social scene either, meanwhile the alpha is constantly praised for his looks and being popular. Really the two have no reason to be together, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the alpha had sex partners off screen.
Keep in mind also, I think their relationship wouldn’t have really changed if the omega hadn’t gotten knocked up.

I read while it’s ongoing like everyone else, but never found a single redeeming quality in the alpha.
